About
About Frontier Signals.
Frontier Signals reads the infrastructure beneath the press release across four desks: Quantum, Chips, Power, and AI Compute.
What gets published
- Signals and briefings. Longer reads on a single deal, filing, or program, in a fixed structure: what is verified, the layer beneath the label, the read, and what to watch next.
- Daily briefs. A dated scan of what the desks collected that day, at a permanent URL under /briefs/.
- Story threads. Automatic links between items that cover the same story on different days.
How it's made
1. Automated collection
Each morning a scheduled pipeline pulls public feeds for each desk: arXiv, trade press, company newsrooms, U.S. Energy Information Administration releases, and SEC EDGAR filings. It removes items it has already seen, applies keyword filters, scores items by source tier and novelty, and publishes the result. No person picks or edits these items. Summaries are the publishers' own feed text, and every item links to its source.
2. The daily read (AI-written)
On most days an AI model reads that day's collected items and writes a short editorial read: a headline, an operator brief, and the top-priority signals per desk. It appears at the top of the daily brief with the label “Automated read, not yet reviewed by a human.” That label means what it says. The text is model-written, and no person has checked it before it goes live. Treat it as a starting point and follow the source links.
3. Signals and briefings (AI-assisted, human-approved)
Signals and briefings are drafted with AI assistance. The claims are checked against the linked primary sources, and nothing is published until the author approves it. Where a claim couldn't be confirmed, it is softened or cut.
What this is not
